Who We Are
McCullough Funeral Home has been locally owned and operated and serving people in Houston and the surrounding counties for nearly 70 years. From the late Jimmy McCullough, to his sister Carol McCullough McNeal, and now her son, owner Michael McNeal, who is at the helm; we are family through and through for generations. We pride ourselves on providing our community with the very best in service and facilities and we have a staff that is unrivaled in passion for what we do. At McCullough Funeral Home, we have always believed that the long-term success of any business requires a dedication and adherence to certain values and a code of professionalism that is shared by every member of the team. We are proud to say that our people are our greatest asset, and this is because of the shared vision among this talented group.
No matter what type of service your family prefers, we will meet your needs on every level. We will make sure to create an experience that honors your loved one, your relationships, and the memories that you want to share. Kindness, compassion, and attention to the details will guarantee that as you begin this journey, you won’t feel alone. Then, after the services are over, our Seasons of Hope grief support group is available to continue to provide you with encouragement and fellowship for as long as you need. Simply put, we will be here for you.
Although we are involved with loss and death on a daily basis, we never forget that completing all the necessary arrangements for any type of funeral service is a serious task that most people are only directly responsible for a few times in their life. The funeral directors and staff at McCullough Funeral Home are well versed in the traditions of various faiths, ethnic backgrounds and military tradition. We have complimentary full time staff here to help you take care of the maze of paperwork for insurance, retirement, pension, and government or veteran’s benefits. We have a full time Family Service Counselor to assist you in making pre-arrangements, funded or unfunded, if you should wish to do so. We want to be a help to our families; not just during a loss, but also before and afterwards. If you have a need we can possibly assist with, please let us. That’s who we are, and what we love to do.
If you don't find your answer here on our site, contact us by or phone at 478-953-1478, and we will find an answer. We view ourselves not simply as a funeral home, but also as a resource for this great community we call home.
