The Farmhouse, a Victorian home owned and operated by the McCullough Funeral Home family was built at a time when Warner Robins was still known as Wellston, and was little more than a quick stop for area farmers. After McCullough’s current location was built, the house was used as a private residence by Michael McNeal and his family until 2009. At that time McCullough Funeral Home decided to offer the house as a gathering place for families served by the funeral home and as an event venue for the community.
For our funeral home families, The Farmhouse can uniquely provide a convenient gathering place where they can share refreshments, light lunches, or meals following a service. The Farmhouse offers an alternative to hosting such events at the home of a family member and its location at the rear of the funeral home makes it ideal and convenient. Our staff can take care of everything for you, such as arranging for your chosen food, supplying utensils and providing staff for serving and cleaning up afterwards. This amenity uniquely allows us to offer your family an inviting place to gather and to provide you with an extra level of comfort.
Also available as a venue for the general public, the charm of this southern home makes The Farmhouse a wonderful location for a shower or reception, anniversary celebration, rehearsal dinner, catered dinner or a Christmas celebration. For corporate events, The Farmhouse offers a refreshing escape in a relaxed atmosphere; close by, yet far removed from the office environment. Here you can entertain clients or business associates in a private home setting. Flat-screen televisions and Internet access are available and other audio/visual services can be provided.
Nestled in the midst of live oaks, magnolias, and pecans, The Farmhouse is a peaceful oasis in the heart of town. One of the oldest homes in Warner Robins with its heart pine floors, nostalgic front porch, and classic décor, this location offers a comfortable escape in a relaxed environment for your gathering or event. The Farmhouse provides its guests with a down home feeling - an experience of Southern charm and gentility.
