E. Ken Meredith, Usaf (Ret.)

Ken Meredith, a great and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, May 23, 2018. He was 78 years.

Born on January 29, 1940, Ken was the son of the late Leonard Meredith and Harriett Meredith Mitchell. He was a native of Milton, Delaware and graduated in 1957 from Milton High School. Soon after, Ken joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country for 22 years before retiring with the rank of Tech Sergeant. Following his military career, he worked as a civil servant at Robins Air Force Base from where he retired in January 2002. In his retirement years, Ken gladly helped keep the books for his wife, Sharron’s business, “Sharron’s Flower House.” He will be fondly remembered by all who knew him as a wonderful and dedicated family man who always enjoyed the “little moments” with his family.

Ken’s memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Sharron Meredith of Warner Robins; children, Debbie Hamilton (Richard Ehrler) of Warner Robins, Doug Meredith (Melissa) of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, and Kenny Meredith (Connie) and Derek Meredith (John Davidson), both of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Garrett and Chad Hamilton, and Ashley, Tyler, Mallory, Andrew, Matthew, Rebecca, Shay, and Kennedy Meredith; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends during a memorial gathering on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
