Geraldine Tuten Evatt

December 16, 1925 — March 18, 2018

Geraldine Tuten Evatt was called home to glory as her husband held her hands on the morning of Sunday, March 18, 2018. She was 92 years old.

Geraldine was born in Blackshear, Georgia on December 16, 1925 to the late Abrham David and Willie Mae Hinson Tuten. She graduated from Blackshear High School in the early 1940’s and moved to Warner Robins in 1952. Geraldine retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base after many years as a machine operator. Of the Baptist faith, she was a fun and joyful sister who loved to travel, shop, and garden.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Tami Renae Casey; and her siblings, Naomi Fowler, Willene Bagley, Clara Davis, Julia Ann Anderson, Betty Peterson, and Adrien David Tuten.

Geraldine leaves her memory behind with her loving husband, Billy Samuel Evatt; son, Joseph C. Howell of Harrisonville, Missouri; sister, Billie Barbee of Huntsville, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service celebrating Geraldine’s life will be held at a later date.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mrs. Evatt’s arrangements.
