A. J. "Jimmy" Horton

A. J. Horton, 54, entered into rest on Friday, March 15, 2013.

Mr. Horton was born on April 25, 1958 in Ft. Valley, Georgia. He was a retired conductor with Norfolk Southern Railroad and owned Owens Boarding House since 1986. A.J. was a proud 1977 graduate of Warner Robins High School. He was an avid Georgia football fan and loved NASCAR. His father and mother, J.W. and Vivian Grace Horton, both preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Tammy Horton, sons, Jonathan Horton (Stephanie), Kathleen; Josh Horton, Bonaire; daughter, Jennifer Horton, Warner Robins; sisters, Layla Perkins (Perk), Bonaire; Debi Flagherty (Les), Swanee, Florida; Medra Williams (Billy), Kathleen; step-children, Tony Campbell (Ashley), Bonaire; Terry Campbell (Nina), Texas, Georgia; grandchildren, Allison, Cassidy, Bryan, Summer, Clay and Ellie; nephews, Cory and Brandon; niece, Brandy; along with several great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 19 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
