Adelaide Schmidt

Adelaide Schmidt, 69, entered into rest on Sunday, October 28, 2018.

Adelaide was born on December 11, 1948 in Rockville Centre, New York to the late Henry and Mary Ballin. She retired as an Administrative Assistant from Temple Beth Israel. Adelaide loved animals, watching birds, especially hummingbirds, and enjoyed bowling. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed the time spent with them.

Adelaide is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Christy Schmidt and brother, Henry Ballin.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, George Schmidt and children, Staci Hadley (Steven) and Patrick Schmidt, both of Perdido, Alabama.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 30, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A second visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Fretwell Church located at 56220 Splinter Hill Road in Perdido, Alabama with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. Mrs. Schmidt will be laid to rest in Bryars-McGill Cemetery in Perdido, Alabama.
