Aileen R. Dollar

Aileen R. Dollar, 84, entered into rest on Sunday, April 8, 2012.

Mrs. Dollar was born on March 24, 1928 in Cedartown, Georgia. A dedicated Christian homemaker, she was entirely devoted to her precious family who loved her old-fashioned southern cooking. Mrs. Dollar was active in the Middle Georgia Crochet Club and adored designing patterns for her friends. She was also a dedicated Den Mother for her sons' Boy Scouts' Clubs. Her husband, James R. Dollar; and parents, John Walter Roberts and Mary Lou Torrance Roberts, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving sons, Philip Dollar (Betty), Deland, Florida and David M. Dollar (Myrtle), Kathleen; granddaughter, Kristina Rigdon (Todd); two great-grandchildren, Smisson Lane Rigdon and Brix David Rigdon; and beloved dog, Charlie Choo-Choo.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to National Downs Syndrome Society, in honor of Brix David Rigdon, 666 Broadway, New York, NY 10012, www.ndss.org.
