Alice Laverne Shelton

Alice Laverne Shelton, 76, entered into rest on Wednesday, June 16, 2010.

Mrs. Shelton was born on October 5, 1933 in Cypress, Florida. A homemaker, she truly enjoyed time spent with her family and especially her grandchildren. Her husband of thirty-six years, Irvine E. Shelton and parents, Charles and Flora McDaniel, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Donald W. Shelton (Lisa), Merritt Island, FL; Richard K. Shelton, Warner Robins; Gail Lupo, Atlanta; Susan L. Defoor (Tim), Warner Robins; Nancy L. Anderson (Brent), Atlanta; sisters, Edna Henderson and Ruth Wilson, both of Tampa, FL; brothers, Billy McDaniel, Perry; Earl McDaniel, Tampa, FL; twelve beloved grandchildren, three beloved great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Reverend Mobley Cross will officiate. Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
