Alice Mae Reese

On the morning of Tuesday, August 2, 2016, Alice Mae Reese went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven. She was 86 years old.

Alice was born in Johnson County, Georgia on September 16, 1929 to the late Arlie and Melinda Price Lindsey. A resident of Warner Robins since 1972, Mrs. Reese was a career military wife, dedicated wife, loving mother, and wonderful homemaker. She was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Asbury Sunday school class. Alice enjoyed life, family, and friends and will be deeply missed by who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Grady G. Reese.

She leaves behind her loving children, Pat R. Milam of Warner Robins, Janet Reese (Greg Padula) of St. Louis, Missouri, Grady Reese, Jr. (Mary Belle) of Lorton, Virginia, James Reese (Dana) of Atlanta, and Kay Surface (Jimmy) of Atlanta; and grandchildren, Jacob and Lucas Milam, and Reagan, Stuart, Bethany, Christian, Maria, and David Reese.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 6th in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. After the service, Alice will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Mrs. Reese to the Alzheimer's Association, 886 Mulberry St., Macon, GA 31201.
