Alice Marie Beardsley

Alice Beardsley, 86, passed away Saturday, May 08, 2004, at her residence. Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 13, 2004 at 10:00am in Cedar Park Cemetery, located in Chicago, Illinois. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088, or to the American Diabetes Association, Georgia Affiliate, One Corporate Square, Suite 127, Atlanta, GA 30329.

Born in Cook County Illinois, Mrs. Beardsley continued to live and work in the area for many years before her retirement from a clerical position with the Cook County Sheriff’s office. In later years she made her home in Warner Robins, Georgia. She was a member of the Lighthouse Sunday School Class at Westside Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her husband, Herbert Stuart Beardsley; father, Alex Christiansen; mother Jensine Jensen Christiansen, and a daughter, Christine Ann Horn.

Survivors include her son, Stuart Beardsley (Carol), Warner Robins, GA; son-in-law, Roger Horn, Arnold, MO; grandson, Matthew Beardsley, Warner Robins, GA; granddaughter, Rebecca Beardsley, Warner Robins, GA; grandson, Todd Horn, St. Louis, MO; granddaughter, Rachael Dougherty, Atlanta, GA; great-grandson, Benjamin Horn, St. Louis, MO; and great-granddaughter, Kiersten Dougherty, Atlanta, GA.
