Alma Cathleen Buzzell

Alma Cathleen (Kay) Buzzell, 81, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2005 in her home. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 21, 2005 at Second Baptist Church interment following in Arlington National Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, February 20, 2005 from 4 until 6 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Middle Georgia Chapter of the American Caner Society 804 Cherry St. Ste. A. Macon, Georgia 31201. They also wish to express great gratitude to her personal caregivers, Hospice of Houston County and the wonderful caring staff of Summers Landing.

Mrs. Buzzell is a native of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama and is the daughter of the late Albert and Nobie Jones of Samatha, Alabama. She moved to Warner Robins in 1962 with her husband SMSgt Walter A. Buzzell and their six children where she later worked and retired from Robins Air Force Base as an F-15 aircraft mechanic. She has been a member Second Baptist Church for forty – three years and was preceded in death by her husband and grandson, Jason Hickox.

Survivors include her sons, Sam (Suzanne) Buzzell, Wayne (Marsha) Buzzell, Buzz Buzzell, Buddy Buzzell, Joe Buzzell, her only daughter Audrey (John) Hashaw; sisters, Laura Lunceford and Wilma Williamson, twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will all dearly miss her kindness and generosity.
