Alton L. Johnson, 80, passed away peacefully while spending time with family on Sunday, November 25, 2012.

Mr. Johnson was born on July 24, 1932 in Kite, Georgia. He attended Warner Robins High School and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Johnson went on to retire from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base and after retirement worked as a contractor for Ball Aerospace. His wife, Mary Etta Johnson; and parents, John Morgan Johnson and Lizzie Meeks Hale, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Kenneth Wayne Johnson (Amy), Perry; Patricia Ann Wooldridge (Bruce), Michigan; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and so many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, November 30, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210.
