Angela Burnette Webb

Angela Burnette Webb passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 11, 2018. She was 64.

Angela was born in Macon, Georgia on July 6, 1954 to the late John Henry Burnette, Jr. and Betty Jean Hinson Burnette. She grew up in Macon and graduated with McEvoy High School’s Class of 1972. Shortly after high school, Angela began working as a cashier for Colonial Foods, then Big Star Foods where she worked her way up to being a manager. She retired after 40 years in the grocery industry, but continued working part-time. Angela had a great work ethic sometimes working three jobs at once. Her current part-time job was in product management at Acosta.

Angela had a big place in her heart for animals, especially cats and dogs. For fun, she enjoyed shopping, spending time with her grandkids, and traveling to the beach and mountains.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Chuck Freeman (Olivia) and Tony Webb, and her longtime companion, William David “Dave” Bragg, all of Warner Robins; six grandchildren; and siblings, Larry Burnette and Jane Helmuth, both of Macon, and Cheryl Holland of Lizella.

A memorial gathering will be held at The Farmhouse at McCullough on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family welcomes visitors to wear casual attire.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Angela to the Humane Society of Houston County, Inc., P.O. Box 9588, Warner Robins, GA 31095.
