Anita Cousin

Anita Cousin, 65, joined her Lord and Savior in Heaven on Wednesday, August 20, 2014.

Anita was born on March 19, 1949 in Stockton, California to the late Alex Hernandez and Ester Duran. She was the esteemed owner and operator of Cousin Cleaning Service in Warner Robins. Anita served several businesses and their families in the community, including, McCullough Funeral Home, the McNeal Agency and the home of Larry and Carol McNeal, Pool Orthodontics and the home of Dr. Gary and Kima Pool, Houston Lake Surgery Center and the home of Dr. William and Sheila Freeman, and countless others. These families adored Anita as one of their own and in turn, she loved and cherished them as hers.

She was a much-loved member of Central Baptist Church and the Pete Joyner Sunday School Class. At church, Anita was very active with the children teaching them in Sunday School and during Vacation Bible School. She was a woman of faith and the heart of the Cousin family, shaping their spirituality by her tireless Christian example. Anita loved her husband, daughters, and grandchildren unconditionally giving them everything she had.

Anita's memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of forty-one years, Ellwood "Woody" Cousin of Warner Robins; Kina Hooks of Dothan, Alabama and Candy Moriarty of Sacramento, California; eleven grandchildren including Andrew and Kaitlin Hooks; one great-grandchild; sister, Christina Ladesma of Sacramento, California; and many other friends and extended family.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 24, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Dr. Owen Bozeman will officiate.
