Ann Carpenter, 79, entered into rest Sunday, February 21, 2016.

Ann was born on October 23, 1936 in Thomaston, Georgia. After thirty six years of civil service, she retired as a Budget Analyst (AFRES) from Robins Air Force Base. Ann was a long time member of First United Methodist Church and the New Comers. She was also an avid bridge player.

Her parents, Wilbur and Ruby Helms and brother, Kenneth Helms preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, M.J. Carpenter; daughters, Beth and Dana Holley and brother, John Marvin Helms; all of Thomaston.

Visitation will be Monday, February 22, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterwards, Ann will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Ann Holley Carpenter to the Methodist Home for Children & Youth, 304 Pierce Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31204.
