Annelle Elliott

Annelle Elliott, 89, joined her late husband, parents, and sister in Heaven, on the night of Wednesday, December 3, 2014.

Annelle was born on September 12, 1925 in Macon, Georgia to the late Milton and Jewel Herndon Minchew. She was a lovely homemaker with a wonderfully kind spirit and willingness to help when needed. Annelle was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Home Demonstrations Club and Thread Benders Weaving Guild. She called Avondale Baptist her church home.

Her beloved husband of 69 years, Jack Sheram Elliott, Sr.; parents; and sister, Frances M. Davidson, preceded her in death.

Annelle's memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Jack Sheram Elliott, Jr. of Fort Valley, Wade Elliott (Brenda) of Kathleen, Lydia Holloman of Byron, Faye Tommey (Donald) of Columbus and Russ Elliott (Debra) of Lizella; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Milton Minchew, Jr. of Macon; and several adoring nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a heartfelt 'thank you' to the devoted caregivers, Annie Evans, Shelia Chappell and Tina Woodard, for their never-ending support and love. Also, a special thanks to Pine Pointe Hospice.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Avondale Baptist Church with interment following in Avondale Baptist Church Cemetery in Macon. The family will greet visitors at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given In Memory of Annelle Elliott to Avondale Baptist Church Cemetery, 6970 Cochran Field Road, Macon, GA 31216.
