Annie Ruth Thompson

Mrs. Annie R. Thompson passed away on Friday, June 27, 2014 from COPD and respiratory complications. She recently celebrated her 89th birthday. Her loving husband, Henry Thompson, Sr. and parents, Enoch and Lizzie Harrison, preceded her in death.

She was the wife of a retired Army officer and dedicated mother of three children, and grandmother of four and most admired their accomplishments. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her son Clay Thompson (Connie) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; daughter, Nancy Nicotri (Robert) of Cumming, Georgia; and son, Jeff Thompson (Melissa Meadows) of Hawkinsville; grandchildren Jason Thompson (Kalle), Brittany Thompson, Todd Slinker (Lindsey) and Ashley York (Bryan) and great-grandchildren, Hannah and Owen Slinker and Lillian, Eloise and Jack Thompson.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. May she be blessed with eternal peace.
