Anthony Lemar Jones

Anthony Lemar Jones, 51, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020, at the Houston Medical Center.

A Warner Robins native, Lemar was born on December 2, 1969, to Bernice Scott Jones and the late Tommie Lee Jones. He proudly earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama, before taking great pride in the important work he did as an Electrical Engineer on Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins.

In his spare time, Lemar loved letting his imagination run free as he dove into his favorite comic books. He also enjoyed watching wrestling with his family members and friends. With a contagious smile, Lemar had a way of making everyone around him feel welcome. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his family and loved them unconditionally.

He will be sorely missed by many family members and friends including his loving wife of seven years, Dannielle Jones; children, Cameron Thomas Jones of Cypress, Texas; and Cameron Anthony Kennard of Byron, Georgia; mother, Bernice Scott Jones of Warner Robins; siblings, Lynnette Brown (Wade) of Warner Robins; Sheree Finley (Alvin) of Montgomery, Alabama; and Sherell Hickman (Anthony) of Rockledge, Florida; mother-in-law, Maria Sanchez of Summerlin, Nevada; and a host of beloved extended family members.

His father, Tommie Lee Jones, preceded Lemar in death.

Visitation will be Monday, December 21, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 21, 2020, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Lemar will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
