Audrey Frances Spackman

Audrey Frances Gregory Spackman, 88, entered into rest on Thursday, February 2, 2012.

Mrs. Spackman was born on April 7, 1923, in Ryegate, Montana. A devoted military wife, she was a dedicated homemaker, mother, sister and friend. She was an accomplished artist and she loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lovell "Larry" Oleen Spackman; parents, Leroy William Gregory and Frances Ida Kennedy Gregory; grandson, Anthony Clance; granddaughter, Tracy Spackman; sister, Ardis Freise; and son-in-law, LeRoy Clance.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Candace Ann Clance; son, Gregory Lee Spackman (Pam); six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Heart 'n' Hands of Macon and caregivers, Tracy and Lisa.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 5, 2012, at Magnolia Park Cemetery, Reverend Dan Gatlyn officiating, with inurnment following. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon GA 31201.
