Barbara Jean C. "Miss B." Drinkard

Barbara Drinkard, 78, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 24, 2016.

Born on August 16, 1937 in Payne City, Georgia, Barbara was a daughter of the late Howard Hilt Cochran, Sr. and the late Iris Hambrick Martin. Affectionately known as "Miss B," she retired from the Warner Robins Police Department as a school crossing guard and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her son, James R. "Jimmy" Cocus, Jr.; and her brother, Steve Cochran.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her brother, Howard Hilt Cochran, Jr.; and nieces and cousins including Marie Dooley, David Cochran, Jr., Larry Cochran, and Lane Dokes.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 28th in Magnolia Park Cemetery where she will be laid to rest. The family may be reached at the residence of Marie Dooley, 101 Howley Rd., Bonaire, GA.
