Barbara St. John Pecjak

July 5, 1942 — December 31, 2021

Barbara St. John Pecjak went to her Heavenly home on Friday, December 31, 2021, surrounded by her daughters. She was 79 years old.

Born in Athens, Georgia, on July 5, 1942, Barbara was the daughter of the late Samuel S. St. John and Bert King St. John. She graduated from Warner Robins High School with the class of 1960. After raising her family, she completed the co-operative program at Robins Air Force Base and spent 25 years as an electronics specialist. Though she was a proud WRHS Demon, her allegiance changed once her children began attending Northside High School and she was a NHS Football booster for many years. She was an avid sports fan, following college football and the Second Baptist Bombers, where she was a devoted member. One of her favorite pastimes was shopping and spoiling her girls. Most of all, she was passionate about taking care of people and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, Ray St. John and her daughter Bobbi Jo Pecjak.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Patti Hawkins (Ken) of Stockbridge; Kim Pecjak Mosley (Todd) of Holt, Florida; brother, Pete St. John (Muriel) of Ozark, Alabama; grandchildren, Brittany Waldhour (Jake) of Navarre, Florida, Cassie Senterfitt (Jake) of Laurel Hill, Florida, and Olivia Hawkins of Atlanta; and four great grandchildren, Joslynn, Josiah, Mason, and Kymbrie as well as many other nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at McCullough Funeral Home. Her funeral service will begin immediately following visitation in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Barbara will be laid to rest at Magnolia Park Cemetery. For friends and family unable to attend, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made in Barbara Pecjak’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choosing.
