Barbara T. Livingston

At the age of 83, Barbara T. Livingston joined her husband, Homer, in Heaven on Wednesday, March 4, 2020. Barbara was born on December 14, 1936, to the late Bennie and Louise Thompson in Pitts, Georgia. She was a loving wife and mother who would do anything to help support and provide for her family. Barbara absolutely loved her grandkids, and being a “Nana” was the highlight of her life. She was known to have a lively personality, often speaking her mind, and always letting her hair down as she drove her Cadillacs. Her passion was working as a sales representative at AVON for nearly 60 years. Her high sales often won trips through AVON which allowed her to travel; her favorite places to visit were Germany and Hawaii. Barbara was a fantastic woman, who enjoyed life to the fullest and will be missed by many.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Homer Livingston; and brothers, Buddy and Ronnie Thompson.

Barbara was survived by her children, Cynthia L. Johnson (Thomas) of Madison; Michael Danny Livingston (Karen) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Shane Livingston of Warner Robins; Joshua W. Livingston of Bonaire; Michael Cody Livingston (Sam) of Centerville; Tyler Johnson, Nikki Johnson, both of Madison; and several great-grandchildren; and brother, Earl Thompson.

Visitation will be Monday, March 09, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service celebrating the life of Mrs. Livingston will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Mrs. Livingston will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
