Benjamin Everett ''Buddy'' Scarborough, 66, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 20, 2012.

Buddy was born on November 20, 1946 in Hawkinsville, Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith and served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Known as one of the best crane operators in the United States, he was employed with Chalmet Levy Construction Company. Buddy helped rebuild levees in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and all over the United States. His parents, Ernest Everett Scarborough, and Laura Borum Scarborough; and sister, Inez Yansome, all preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Judy Clark Scarborough, Springfield; former spouse, Linda Scarborough, Springfield; children and their spouses, Dwayne Everett Scarborough (Jennifer) and Tori Bowen (Randy), all of Springfield; sisters, A. Odean "Pokey" Collins, Ernesten Burkett, and Ida Woodard; eight grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to Heart of Georgia Hospice Inpatient Care, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry, Georgia 31069.
