Bert Eugene Peters

Bert Peters, 79, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018.

Bert was born on September 27, 1939 in Peoria, Arizona to the late Albert Peters and Mary Nee Ross.

Bert graduated from Calipatria Unified High School in June of 1957. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in October of 1957. Bert retired after proudly serving our great nation for 23 years. During his time of service, he was stationed stateside at Lackland AFB in Texas, Keesler AFB in Mississippi, Maxwell AFB in Alabama, Robins AFB in Georgia. Bert was also stationed overseas at Thule AB in Greenland, Johnson AB and Yokota AB in Japan, and Korat RTAFB in Thailand. After his retirement from the Air Force, Bert worked in Civil Service at Dyess AFB in Texas and Robins AFB, GA and retired from the Distribution Directorate in 1995. Bert enjoyed playing golf while he was physically able to play, reading, and working the New York Times Sunday crossword puzzles. He never finished them all but enjoyed the challenge.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 52 years, Teruyo Peters; and siblings; Henry, Carl (Shirley), Vivian, Al, and Irene (Gerald).

Services held will be private.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with the arrangements of Mr. Peters.
