Beryl Carswell

Beryl Carswell, 90, entered the gates of heaven on Saturday, June 4, 2022.

Beryl was born on September 3, 1931, in Macon, Georgia to the late Joseph and Eva Harper Brantley. She dedicated many years of service, prior to her retirement, to Macon Tent and Awning, where she was a bookkeeper. A devout Christian, Beryl loved her Lord and worshipped him at First Assembly of God in Macon. Gifted with a servant’s heart, she was a loving caretaker dedicated to caring for those around her. Beryl loved to cook and provide for her family whom she cherished. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty-three years, Terry Carswell, son, Ronnie Joe Tucker and daughter, Joyce Elaine Gabe.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Michael Tucker (Lori), fourteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and a host of extended family.

A graveside service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens where she will be interred following the service. Mrs. Beryl will lie in state at the funeral home on the afternoon of Monday, June 6, 2022, until service time.
