Betty Ann Evans, 67, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at Houston Medical Center. Graveside services will be held in Parkway Memorial Gardens at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 7, with interment following. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
Born in Conecuh County, Alabama, Mrs. Evans was the daughter of the late Frank and Vera Cobb. She was a homemaker and former owner of Betty’s Beauty Shop. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, James Hugh Evans, Bonaire; three daughters: Cupid A. Thornton, Centerville; Patricia Fortina, Dayton, OH; and Jenny C. Evans, Bonaire; four brothers; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
