Betty Anthony Selph

On the evening of Wednesday, August 10, 2016, Betty Anthony Selph went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven. She was 84 years old.

Betty was born on March 3, 1932 in Thomaston, Georgia to the late Earl Wesley and Frances Hughes Anthony. She was a 1950 graduate of Robert E. Lee Institute in Thomaston and retired from Robins Federal Credit Union after many years of dedicated service.

A woman of faith and the heart of the Selph family, Betty shaped their spirituality by her tireless Christian example. She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church for at least 30 years and was most recently a member of Southside Baptist Church. Mrs. Selph was also a much-loved member of the Red Hat Society. The legacy of her love, faith, and kindness to everyone will always be carried on through the many lives she touched.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Christie Selph.

Betty leaves her memory behind with her devoted husband, Raymond Selph and son, Kevin Selph, both of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Blake Selph, Tylor Roach, Brett Roach, and Madison Boothe; brother, Jimmy Anthony of Atlanta; sister, Jean Elliott of Memphis, Tennessee; and sister-in-law, Carol Anthony of Macon.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 13th in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Glynn D. Grantham and Rev. Randall Nash will officiate.
