Betty Carleen Stewart Hodges

Betty Carleen Stewart Hodges, 80, entered into rest on Thursday, April 17, 2014.

Betty was born on October 15, 1933 in Macon, Georgia and was of the Baptist faith. She was a wonderful homemaker who deeply loved her children and family.

Her husband, Homer Lafayette Hodges; son, Kenny W. Reynolds; parents, Henry Shaw and Mattie Dixon Stewart; and siblings, Johnny Miller Stewart, Frances Causey and Martha Weatherby, preceded her in death.

Betty's memory will forever be treasured by her adoring children, Michael D. Reynolds (Debra) of Jones County, Dianne T. Adkins (Curtis) and Kathy A. NeSmith (Doyle), both of Macon and Homer L. Hodges (Cindy) of Sparta; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; siblings, Henry Stewart, Jr., Wilma Williams, Barbara Parsons, Sandra Bullock and Janice Ledford; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, April 21, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with interment immediately following.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given to Gray Health and Rehabilitation, 156 Dolly Street, Gray, GA 31032.
