Betty Jean Tucker

Betty J. Tucker, 80, entered into rest on May 28, 2014.

Betty was born on August 21, 1933 in Morristown, Tennessee. A devoted homemaker, she loved her family, animals, namely her dog Dottie, and ceramics. She was a member of First Christian Church in Warner Robins.

Her parents, Arthur and Nora Colvin, and her husband, Winston Tucker, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her four children, Joyce Smith of Cumming, Georgia, Buford Hines of Palm City, Florida, Terry Hines of Ardmore, Tennessee, and Edward Hines from Centerville, Georgia; two step-children, Shirlee Johnson of Waynesboro, Georgia and Gary Tucker of Tennessee; three siblings, Arthur Colvin of Warner Robins, Doris Stewart of Savannah, Tennessee, and Barbara Purser of Cochran, Georgia; fourteen grandchildren; and thirty-two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, May 30, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following at Parkway Memorial Gardens. Reverend Todd Shearin will officiate.
