Betty Sue Thomas

Betty Thomas, 68, entered into rest on Sunday, July 22, 2018.

Betty was born on February 16, 1950 in Meansville, Georgia to the late Harvey and Willie Kate Harvell. She was a member of The Assembly for many years and took pleasure in fishing, reading and cooking. She enjoyed hosting family gatherings and preparing meals for her family and friends. “Granny” adored her family and she had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren.

Her husband, William Harold Thomas and parents preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Keith Thomas of Savannah, Mandy Thomas, of Warner Robins and Brandi Sailor (David) of Perry; grandchildren, Leah Thomas, Brianna Sailor and Isabella Sailor; faithful and loving companion, Bobby Brown; brother, Junior Harvell and lifelong childhood friend, Donna Perkins.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterwards, Mrs. Thomas will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mrs. Thomas’ arrangements.
