Betty Thompson

Betty Thompson, 82, walked into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on the morning of Wednesday, January 14, 2015.

Betty was born on December 18, 1932 in New York, New York and was of the Episcopal faith. A wonderful homemaker who was dedicated to the raising of her family, she also devoted her time as a daycare provider for many children over the years. Betty loved reading, crafting, and time spent with her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Carl Thompson; and parents, Vincent V. and Hilda Clunie Lewis.

Betty's memory will forever be treasured by her loving daughter, Jean E. Cole of Warner Robins; grandson, Quinton Xavier Thompson of Fort Hood, Texas; great-grandchildren, Quinn Marquis Thompson and Lydiana Marie Thompson; and grand-nephew, Anthony McQueen.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
