Betty Unell Morefield, 78, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 11, 2012.

Betty was born on January 17, 1933 in Phenix City, Alabama. She was a member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of Fairfax, Virginia and actively involved in decorations and functions at the Al Sihah Shrine Center. For the past fourteen years, Betty lived in Bonaire, and fully enjoyed raising her grandbabies. Her parents, John Archie Arnold and Irene Gresham Arnold; four brothers; and one sister, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of forty-three years, Iless Wayne Morefield, Bonaire; son, Victor Steven Friend, Gainesville, Georgia; daughter, Kathy Camille Perraut (Robert), Kathleen, Georgia; granddaughter, Courtney Camille Stephens (Jason) and great-granddaughter, Bella Camille, Bonaire; granddaughter, Morgan Kathryn Graves (Jeff) and great-granddaughter, Olivia Camille, Kearneysville, West Virginia; granddaughter, Joyce Marie Perraut, Atlanta; grandson, Jonathan Miles Perraut (Misty) and great-grandson, Derrick Miles, Aberdeen, Ohio; son, Nathan Gilmore (Sheri), six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and son, Todd Morefield (Kristen), three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be made to Shriners Hospital For Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605-4277.
