Bettye G. Hanners

Bettye G. Hanners, 76, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2006. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, in Pine Crest Cemetery located in Mobile, Alabama.

Mrs. Hanners was born on October 26, 1929 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was a charter member of Sandy Valley Baptist Church. In 1967, she and her family moved from Mobile, making Warner Robins their home. In her many roles as a loving Christian wife and mother, she was a fabulous homemaker and also managed an apartment complex for ten years. Her parents, Eddie Gast and Susan Spencer Gast Brand, and two children, Michael Desi Hanners and Barbara Jean Hanners, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her loving husband of sixty years, William Lamar Hanners, Warner Robins; children, Daniel Lee (Diane) Hanners, Perry; William L. (Sherry) Hanners, Jr., Apopka, FL; Linda Eury, Warner Robins; Timothy Drew (Duanna) Hanners, Texas; Anthony Bruce (Wanda) Hanners, PA; sister, Barbara Roberts, Maitland, FL; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
