Beverly Jean Carroll

Beverly Jean Carroll, age 63, passed into the hands of her Lord on Tuesday, May 12, 2020.

Beverly was born in Aliceville, Alabama, on November 2, 1956, to the late Arthur Lawrence and Salina Shearouse Bray. Born with a heart defect, she was not expected to survive, but prevailed as a ‘miracle baby!’ Beverly lived because of her family’s devout faith in their Savior. She was one of the sweetest people you could ever meet and always wanted to take care of others. Spending time with her friends and pets was what gave her the most joy; she will be missed by many. She may have lived her entire life with a hole in her heart, but kept it full with love for others and the Lord.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Lawrence Bray, Jr.

Beverly is survived by her loving twin sister, Rebecca Sloan of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; niece, Rachel Conley (Jason) of Baltimore, Maryland; nephew, Philip Sloan (Elizabeth Leavitt) of Maine; great-nieces-and-nephews, Will Winslow, Clara Conley, Caroline Conley, and Brayden Sloan; several cousins including, Merrily Clippard; and good friends, Kathy Vickers and Renee Rodda.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests for memorial donations to be given in memory of Beverly to Journey Church of Myrtle Beach Building Fund, P.O. Box 29588, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588.
