Early on the morning of Monday, May 23, 2022, Billy Lewis Newberry, 85, passed away at Piedmont Macon Medical Center.
The son of the late Bill and Lois Newberry, Billy was born in Warner Robins, Georgia, on August 5, 1936. A committed entrepreneur and Master Plumber, he owned and operated Newberry Plumbing Company, a successful business that served the Middle Georgia area for over 60 years.

Always up for an adventure, he took many trips to Panama City Beach, Florida, where Billy drove his dune buggy up and down the beach. For over 20 years, Billy was an active member of the Warner Robins Jaycees, Warner Robins High School Touchdown Club, and the University of Georgia (UGA) Bulldog Motor Coach Club. He was of the Baptist faith.
