Our beloved Bill, 75, was escorted to his Heavenly Home by Jesus' Angels, Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 12:40 p.m.

Billy Wayne Brown was born on November 10, 1937 in Falkville, Alabama to the late Ulysses Grant Brown and Mammie Inez Graham Brown. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Valdosta, Georgia. Bill graduated from Falkville High School and earned his Associates Degree in Engineering at the University of Tennessee. With pride and honor he served his country in the United States Air Force for four years. Subsequent to his military enlistment, Bill worked for Alladin Corporation in Nashville, Tennessee for five years, Maremont in Pulaski, Tennessee for five years, ITT Industries in Valdosta for ten years, and continued his thirty-two year career as an Industrial Engineer at the Cascade Corporation in Warner Robins, retiring in 2005. Bill was a Master Mason with the Sam Davis Lodge #661 in Smyrna, Tennessee and Pulaski Lodge #101 in Pulaski, Tennessee. He enjoyed collecting and repairing antique cars. His parents, his son, Billy Wayne Brown, Jr., and his sister, Dorothy Nell Brown Coard, all preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Eugenia Sue Gannon Brown; children, Deborah Sue Brown Hunter, both of Warner Robins, Georgia; Billy Michael Brown (Donna), Valdosta, Georgia; Steven Wayne Brown, Tallahassee, Florida; Beverly Eugenia Brown McDevitt (Scott), North Pole, Alaska; grandchildren, Rebecca Sue Hunter Bishop (Christopher), Christina Michelle Brown McNeal (Johnny), Christopher Michael Brown (Jessica), Steven Gene Brown (Haley), Kayley McDevitt, Brittney McDevitt; great grandchildren, Cole, Wyatt, and Evie McNeal, and Ryleigh and Kaidyn Brown.

Local Visitation will be Thursday, May 30 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. A second Visitation will be on Sunday, June 2, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home located at 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, Tennessee. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2013 in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville, Tennessee.
