Bobby "Cuzz" Vinson Marrett

Bobby Vinson Marrett, 73, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 28, 2014.

Bobby was born on July 16, 1940 in Milledgeville, Georgia to the late Emmett L. Marrett and Ruth Wall Marrett. A long-time resident of Warner Robins, he was a 1961 graduate of Warner Robins High School. Since 1957, Bobby's parents owned and operated Marrett's Auto Service. Following in his father's footsteps, Bobby was an expert auto mechanic and eventually became the owner and operator of Marrett Auto Service. Not only did he enjoy the mechanics of automobiles, he was a car enthusiast and enjoyed restoring older vehicles. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed gardening and loved to dance.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of twenty years, Kat Marrett, Warner Robins; daughter, Julie Crooms (Richard), Bonaire; step-son, Terry Harper, Roopville, Georgia; step-daughter, Melissa Harper, Bonita Springs, Florida; grandson, Chris Smith, Warner Robins; step-grandsons, Patrick and Jeremy Harper, Roopville, Georgia; sisters, Betty Liles (John), Macon; Ann Ledbetter (James), Huntsville, Alabama; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 3, 2014 at First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins. The family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be private. The family respectfully suggests that donations be given to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street Ste. A, Macon, Georgia 31201.
