Bradley Harrison Crews

November 11, 1942 — January 13, 2016

Bradley Harrison Crews, 73, passed into the hands of his Lord on Wednesday, January 13, 2016.

Bradley was born on November 11, 1942, in Winter Haven, Florida to the late Harrison Crews and Pauline Summers Crews Cottrell. He grew up in different towns in Polk County, Florida as his father moved to different places all over the county pastoring various churches. After graduating from Auburndale High School, Bradley attended North Greenville Junior College for two years before going to the University of Florida where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture. It was there that he met his beautiful bride-to-be, Jackie Wright. He followed in his father's footsteps in his ministry for God, and went on to earn his Masters of Christian Education from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Mr. Crews was a much-loved agriculture teacher at Groveland/South Lake High School in Groveland, Florida for 30 years. Bradley served as Deacon at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Florida and was an active member of Central Baptist Church in Warner Robins, where he assisted with children's church. He was a proud member of the Gideons International and was a Future Farmers of America Advisor for 27 years. Mr. Crews and his wife retired to Warner Robins, Georgia, to a beautiful home in a flower-filled place. He will be greatly missed within his family, his church and in the community, but the memory of his fidelity and loyalty to God, his family, and the church will remain as an inspiration to everyone who knew him.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 48 years, Jackie Crews of Warner Robins; daughters, Patricia Ann Tice (John) and Mary Pauline Crews, both of Winter Garden, Florida; son, Daniel Harrison Crews (Nancy) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Paul John "P.J." Tice and Katherine Elizabeth "Katie" Tice; siblings, Donna Faye Hedges of Orlando, Florida, Dr. John F. Crews of Fort Mead, Florida, and Dr. Richard Paul Crews of Simpsonville, South Carolina; and many adoring nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 17, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 18, 2016, at Central Baptist Church with Dr. Owen Bozeman officiating. Afterwards, Mr. Crews will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Bradley Crews to Gideons International, P.O. Box 537, Warner Robins, GA 31099.
