Brantley Tanner

Brantley Tanner, 72 passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2007.

Mr. Tanner was born on January 28, 1935 in Nashville, Georgia. He was the owner and operator of Tanner Refrigeration until his retirement in 1995 and was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Warner Robins. Mr. Tanner was known and loved by his family and friends for his kind, generous spirit and his giving personality. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wes and Beulah Tanner; four brothers, Cecil Tanner, Milford Tanner, Daniel Tanner and Otis Tanner.

Survivors includes his wife, Elaine Tanner of Byron; son and daughter-in-law, Glenn & Linda Tanner of Byron; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda & Cary Rhodes of Taylorsville, GA; five granddaughters, Amy, Brittany and Ashley Tanner and Tracy and Kelly Rhodes; the mother of his children, Aline Tanner of Byron; brother, Virgil Tanner of Hazlehurst, GA; four sisters, Leigh Courtney of Nahunta, GA, Lillie Mae McCook of Milan, GA, Hazel Deason of Nashville, TN, and Opal Erickson of Clever, MO; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September, 25, 2007 in the Byron Cemetery with Leon Staines officiating.
