Brenda Burch "Boo" Sharpless

Brenda Burch Sharpless, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019.

Brenda was born on December 19, 1947, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Harvey and Mildred Burch. She retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base and was a member of Sojourn Church in Perry. In her free time, Brenda loved spending time with her grandchildren and was a lover of Hallmark movies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Mildred Burch; and sister, Janice Coatney.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Larry Sharpless; children, Shannon Sharpless and Cory Sharpless; grandchildren, Caleb, Holden, and Lorelai Sharpless; her heart, Katie Spell; and several aunts, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Sojourn Church, 2238 US-41, Perry, GA 31069. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Keith Watson and Pastor Josh Maloy officiating. At the family’s request, burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Brenda to National Kidney Foundation of Georgia, 2951 Flowers Road South, Atlanta, GA 30341.
