Brian Richard "Kip" Hatin, Jr.

Kip Hatin, 49, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 26, 2017 after a short battle with lung cancer.

A native of Warner Robins, Georgia, Kip graduated with the Class of 1986 from Northside High School and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps with the 8th Battalion as a medic during Desert Storm. He then served in search and rescue with the United States Navy. Following his military career, Kip went on to work as a firefighter with the Warner Robins Fire Department and later served as a Police Officer for the Fort Valley Police Department and Marshallville Police Departments.

In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. Kip also had a soft spot for his pit bulls and deeply loved his family. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and being their “Paw.”

Kip’s memory will forever be treasured by his loving mother, Pam Saunders of Warner Robins; his father, Brian Richard Hatin, Sr. (Darcy) of Warner Robins; his daughters, Katelyn Ilercil of Jackson, Mississippi and Kenley Hatin of Warner Robins; his grandchildren, MadalinMills Ilercil, Braxton Hatin, and Lincoln Krajewski; his siblings, Eric Hatin (Michele) of Gray, Todd Bigler (Kesha) of Kathleen, Jennifer Hamilton of Vacaville, California, and Lindsay Saunders and Millie Hatin, both of Warner Robins; and many adoring nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mr. Hatin’s arrangements.
