Brice T. Chesnut

April 30, 1995 — November 7, 2016

On Monday, November 7, 2016, Brice Chesnut escaped the confines of this earth having been surrounded by loved ones at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon. He enjoyed 21 challenging yet remarkable years filled with love and laughter among his family and so many friends whose lives were all made better simply for having known him.

Born to Ginger Fish Chesnut and Brian Chesnut in 1995, Brice was the twin brother of Cameron Chesnut. Brice had a strong love for his family and his love for his "mommy" was beyond compare. That love was more than equally returned and theirs was a beautiful relationship that others were blessed by watching over the years. Born with Cerebral Palsy, Brice was courageous and inspirational in the way he never shied away from obstacles he faced; instead, he met them head on and not only found joy in his life, but gave joy to everyone who met him. Brice's laughter was contagious and he laughed often. He loved to take vacations, to eat, and to spend time with all his "girlfriends"! He loved being around people, in general, and in particular he loved all the doctors and nurses that cared for and doted on him through the years at the hospital. Brice loved to listen to gospel music and recently he had enjoyed spending time with a newly "adopted" church family at Union Baptist Church. He was a member at Holy Spirit Catholic Church which he enjoyed attending with his grandparents.

Brice was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Fish.

Left to treasure his memory are his mother, Ginger, and her husband of 18 years, Rusty Oliver of Macon; father, Brian Chesnut of Bonaire; brother, Cameron Chesnut, and sister Jorja Chesnut, both of Macon; grandparents, Albert and Gerry Chesnut of Macon, and Kim James of Atlanta; great-grandmothers, June James and Jean Martin; one uncle, David; and seven aunts, Julie, Jessie, Susie, Cassandra, Danielle, Gayla, and Abagail; as well as numerous other family members and uncountable friends that will all miss Brice's bright and infectious personality.

The memorial service celebrating Brice's life will be held on Sunday afternoon, November 13, at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Immediately following the service, Brice's family will receive friends at the funeral home. McCullough is located at 417 S. Houston Lake Road in Warner Robins.

Following the service and visitation, friends are invited to join the family at the home of Ginger and Rusty Oliver.

Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made in Brice's memory to United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia, 3300 Northeast Expressway, Building 9, Atlanta, Georgia, 30341.
