Bruce Avery Snyder, Jr.

Bruce Snyder, 66, went home to celebrate his new life with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, November 25, 2016.

Bruce was born on October 4, 1950 in Johnson City, Tennessee. He grew up and graduated from high school in Johnson City and went on to enroll in United Electronics Institute in Louisville, Kentucky. It was in Louisville where he met his wife, Linda. He worked in civil service for over thirty-four years, serving thirty-one years at Robins Air Force Base before retiring in 2006. Bruce was an active member and served as a deacon and Financial Officer at Green Acres Baptist Church. He was most recently the Sunday School teacher for the men's class. Bruce loved to travel and visit the national parks in our country

Bruce was a devoted husband, father and son who dearly loved his family. His father, Bruce Snyder, Sr. and sisters, Mary Eller and Vickie Leach, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife of forty-four years, Linda Snyder; sons, Bruce Snyder, III (Tiffany) of Perry and Michael Snyder of Warner Robins; brother, Kenneth Snyder (Janice) of Jonesborough, Tennessee and mother, Helen Snyder of Johnson City, Tennessee.

Visitation will be Monday, November 28, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterwards, Bruce will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Bruce Snyder to Green Acres Baptist Church Building Fund, 901 Elberta Road, Warner Robins, Georgia.
