Bruce Osburn Key

Bruce Osburn Key, 54, native of Warner Robins, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 18, 2018 in Panama City Florida where he was celebrating his marriage to Trena Bell Key and vacationing with family. He had a long battle with heart problems.

Born on November 23, 1963 in Warner Robins, Georgia to Winona and Paul Dallas Key, Bruce graduated from Northside High school in 1982. He was retired as an IBM Corporate Project Manager and business consultant.

Bruce loved playing all sports, and was an avid fisherman and golfer, but his greatest love was time spent with family. He placed love and loyalty to them above anything else. Bruce had a special bond with his granddaughter, Madelynn. Bruce's love for and recent marriage to Trena gave him so much happiness this past year. He was a loving and protective father to her children, especially to Cole. Bruce will be remembered for his great sense of humor, zest for living, quick wit, compassion, and unhesitating willingness to help family and friends in any way he could.

He was predeceased by his father, Paul Dallas Key.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Trena Bell Key, son, Casey (Danielle), and granddaughter, Madelynn, all of Dallas Georgia; daughter, Kelly of Powder Springs, Georgia; mother, Winona Key Sharp, brother, David (Cheri), nephew, John Paul Key, and niece, Kathryn Lindsey, all of Warner Robins; stepchildren, Cole, Luke, and Christy Barker, and Rachel Peterson (Michael), all of Lilburn; and step-grandchildren, Wesley and Lanier Peterson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug 25, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, Bruce will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens, Warner Robins.
