Buford Ellen Barfield

Buford Ellen Barfield, 89, entered into rest on Sunday, December 16, 2012.

Mrs. Barfield was born on July 4, 1923 in Thomaston, Georgia to the late Thomas Jefferson Hardage and Lottie Mae Flowers Hardage. She retired from Robins Air Force Base and was a member of Second Baptist Church since 1953. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barfield was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edgar Lee Barfield; and daughter, Melba Ann Shira.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Eddie Curtis Barfield (Linda); grandchildren, Tyler Barfield (Donna) and Gabrielle Stembridge (Jody); and great-grandson, Brooks Barfield, all of Warner Robins.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Little Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Mike Slade will officiate.
