Byce W. Pulliam

Byce W. Pulliam, 70, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015.

B.W. was born on November 27, 1944 in Wilcox County, Georgia to the late Isaiah and Winnie Thompson Pulliam. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War receiving a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He attended the University of Georgia, then worked as a carpenter and taught carpentry at Houston County Vocational Center. B.W. loved fishing and spending time with his family.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 49 years, Barbara Cates Pulliam; daughters, Sheila Fennell (Ken), Kim Ligeikis (Steve), and April Lewis all of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Alex Lewis, Becca, Daisy, and Stevie Ligeikis; great granddaughter, Zoey Lewis; siblings, Shelby Jean Mixon, Roy D. Pulliam, Cyrus Pulliam, Loretta Hatton all of Warner Robins, and Anthony Pulliam of Perry; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens with military honors.
