Billy D. Williams, 70, entered into rest on Sunday, December 30, 2018.

Billy was born on 7 April 1948 in Albany, Georgia to the late Bill David Williams, Sr and Ramona Rose Hebden. He graduated Class of 1966 from Marvin Pittman High School in Statesboro. Billy enlisted in the Air Force, honorably serving 30 years achieving the prestigious rank of Chief Master Sargent. His service included tours in the Vietnam and Gulf Wars, Congo, Grenada and Panama Crisis. Billy continued supporting our Nation at Robins AFB joining civil service and retiring a second time. During retirement he enjoyed spending time with his 11 grandchildren, gardening, visiting with friends with daily trips to the Waffle House and the gun shop. He enjoyed meeting weekly with buddies for a “Maintenance Meeting” and continued his involvement with the Chiefs Group. Most of all Billy D was a FreeBird who enjoyed riding his Harley Screaming Eagle.

Billy will forever live in the memory of us all, but mostly his loving wife Judith Louise Williams; children Lisa Marie Molargik (Douglas) of Bonaire, Kimberly Marie Simmons (Benjamin)of Elko, Bill David Williams III (Sherrie) of Warner Robins, Jason Shane Williams; grandchildren Brittany Molargik, Anthony Molargik, Billie Dee Simmons, Bradley Simmons, Bill David Williams IIII, Landon Williams, Gage Williams, Lauren Williams, Dalena Williams, Jason Williams Jr., and Mason Williams; siblings, Pamela Crockett (Andy) and Carl Hebden (Maggie).

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 02, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 03, 2018 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterwards, Mr. Williams’ will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery with full Military Honors.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mr. Williams’ arrangements.
