Cmsgt. Bobby Edward Wolfe, Usaf (Ret.)

Bobby Wolfe, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, spread his wings and left this world to be in his Heavenly Home on Saturday, October 22, 2016. He was 82 years old.

Bobby was born in Bristol, Virginia to the late Howard Edward and Alpha Roberts Wolfe on August 21, 1934. A proud 32-year veteran of the United States Air Force, he retired with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant and thereafter went on to work in Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Wolfe dedicated his service on base for 10 years before eventually retiring.

Bobby was a devoted 30-plus year member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, as well. He enjoyed golfing and yard work, but above all loved time spent with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Mr. Wolfe built his life around his family and friends, and his deep love, strength and integrity will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was also preceded in death by his son, Bobby Edward Wolfe, Jr; brothers, Billy Wayne Wolfe and Howard Eugene Wolfe; and sisters, Angeline Delores Wolfe and Violet Annette Wolfe.

He leaves his memory behind with his devoted wife of 26 years, Patricia Wolfe of Warner Robins; children, Sean McIlwain (Micaela) of Chula Vista, California, Chris McIlwain (Chrystie) of Warner Robins, and Dana McIlwain of Athens; grandchildren, Ashley James (Anthony), and Jordan, Michael, and Zachary McIlwain; great-grandson, Jackson James; siblings, Jappa Lee Scott, Victor Cartellus Wolfe (Shirley), and Sheila Donita Wolfe; and a number of adoring nieces, nephews, and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28th in Andersonville National Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with Full Military Honors.
