Cmsgt. Dennis R. Mcreynolds, Sr., Usaf (Ret.)

– Late on the evening of Thursday, November 9, 2017, Denny McReynolds, 76, passed away after a brief illness.

CMSgt. McReynolds was born on June 30, 1941, in Bluefield, West Virginia to Sherman and Reba Dennis McReynolds. With honor and dignity, he proudly served his country as a medical technician in the United States Air Force before retiring, having attained the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. A devoted family man, he spent his free time doing home improvement projects, always seeking to make a better way of life for his family. He was a faithful member and former elder of the First Christian Church of Warner Robins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sharon Traylor.

His memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife of 55 years, Brenda Austin McReynolds; his children, Dennis McReynolds, Jr. (Dawn) of Warner Robins and Brian McReynolds (Mary Ann) of Villa Rica, Georgia; his grandchildren, Chase McReynolds (Jenna) of Byron, Georgia, Samantha Conner of Morgantown, West Virginia, Kyle Austin McReynolds (Evelyn) of Augusta, Georgia, Thor McReynolds, and Ariel McReynolds, both of Villa Rica, Georgia; his great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kaylea McReynolds of Byron, Georgia; and his sister, Christine Clark of Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

The funeral service celebrating the life of CMSgt. McReynolds will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at First Christian Church with Reverend Darrell Vandervort officiating. Following the service, CMSgt. McReynolds will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Mausoleum with full military honors. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
