Cmsgt Richard James Abrams, Usaf (Ret.)

CMSgt Richard James Abrams, USAF (Ret.), 84, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2015.

Richard was born on December 14, 1930 in Keene, New Hampshire to the late James and Grace Burke Abrams. He and his wife moved to Warner Robins in 1975 and later became members of the Church of Nazarene of Warner Robins. Richard proudly served in the United States Air Force for 30 years, during which he served two tours in Vietnam, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant. He then continued his career as a hydraulic specialist at Robins Air Force base for 14 years. In high school Richard enjoyed playing basketball, and later in life he enjoyed umpiring basketball, baseball, watching sports, fishing and spending time with his family.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 40 years, Yupa Krahermhan of Warner Robins; sons, Tom Abrams (Venla) of Burbank, California, Robert Dylan Abrams of Durham, North Carolina, Napa Sritan (Angel) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Noppron Sritan of Warner Robins, Nakin Sritan of Milledgeville; daughters, Patcharee and Supranee of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Joshua, Owen, Michael, Justin, Nolan (Kelsey), Noah, Alora, Niomi, Nina; and great-grandchildren, Landon, Xander, and Scarlette.

Visitation will be Monday, June 22, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
